There are quite a few all black ones (named the berries) so we wanted to provide something for them to keep them warm in the cold months. I custom designed the duplex to have hinged roofs, heat lamps inside, an escape hatch in the back and to act as one unit or to be separated into two homes if territorial issues arose. It is constructed using blue pine. I used a letterpress to emboss the rives paper and then printed the essential information on the reverse side.
